Mike always thinks of plenty to keep him busy on his day off of work. He is a doer and I love that about him. He is also kind enough to let me help out at the elementary school, leaving Corban to be his tag along. That can sometimes be difficult if he's got BIG plans. This week, he decided to help our neighbor trim his peach trees. When Elise came home from school, she jumped in the back of the truck to be the tag along. It is always fun to help dad work. Why is that? The kids never seem to think helping mom work is very much fun! Well, Corban woke from a nap and I mentioned something to him about helping dad, and that Elise was sitting in the back of the truck. He responded that she was in his spot. I explained that they BOTH could sit there together, and so they did. Mike sawed off the old dead parts of the trees and then picked up the logs and branches to burn. It was a good day off, with plenty to keep him busy!
