Harvest Winners!!!

On Wednesday, Elise and Cameron BOTH received awards for their Harvest of Talent entries. Elise took first place in Poetry for first grade and also first place for her Painting. She was given two medals and some treats.



The poem Elise entered (with a few spelling corrections):

Potato Soup
I like corn and broccoli too
And I like white potato soup!

I help my mom stir the pot
And I am careful because it's hot!

When it's done I eat it up
Then I help my mom clean up!

Cameron earned second place for his drawing, for second grade. There were many drawings entered and Cameron wasn't expecting to win anything. He was pleasantly surprised when his name was announced at the assembly.
