Trevon played his Trumpet with the All-County Band on Saturday night. He auditioned to be a part of the band and was happy he was able to play with other students who took their musicianship seriously. The students met for 6 hours on Friday to rehearse together, and then 5 hours on Saturday. They were directed by Gary Caldwell who teaches at Dixie State College and directs the Southern Utah Symphony Orchestra. I've included excerpts of Saturday night's concert below. The number I enjoyed most, "Arabian Dances" (Balmages) would not upload to this post. I hope you enjoy the sampling of some of the other music that was played. It was a great concert!
