Music is a big part of our family. We have flute players, piano players, violinists, and a trumpet player - SO FAR! Each one of us also sings, and I LOVE it when we sing together! On Friday I sang with my girls in a quartet festival, hosted by the Hurricane Stake. We sang a number titled 60's Partyline, which included the songs: It's My Party; Chapel of Love; Lollipop; These Boots Are Made for Walkin'; and Downtown. The girls originally wanted to sing the Lollipop song, but when I went to the music store to find the music, I ended up with this medley of songs. If given my way, we would have sung this with some choreography added - but this was a good start - maybe next year I'll be able to talk them into adding some actions and letting go of the music!

Shelly that was so cool! The harmonies were there and they were great! I am so proud of your family. I bet it was fun for you to sing with your children. I am still trying to decide if any of my kids can sing. I sure hope so. I'd love to do something like that with them.
ReplyDeleteHow fun that you are all so musically talented.
ReplyDeleteYou all did so great! I was sad the video ended so soon. So talented!
